Android Developer – Design and Build Mobile Applications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions for Android devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, implement, and test new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to best practices.
• Integrate backend services via RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify, debug, and fix bugs, continuously improving app performance.
• Stay up to date with Android trends, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Android Developer with published apps on Google Play Store.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
• RESTful APIs, JSON handling, and third‑party library integration.
• Material Design and Android UI/UX principles.
• SQLite, Room, and offline storage solutions.
• Git version control.
• Jetpack Compose (nice‑to‑have).
• CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps (nice‑to‑have).
• Firebase services such as authentication, notifications, and analytics (nice‑to‑have).
• Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity (nice‑to‑have).
