AI Agents Solutions Architect - Finance

About the role

Kraken is seeking an AI Agents Solutions Architect to design and build an AI‑native finance operating system. The role focuses on automating and modernising finance operations across a globally regulated crypto exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and map current finance workflows, including close, reconciliations, treasury, reporting, controls validation, and audit preparation.
• Identify manual bottlenecks, capability gaps, and integration failures across systems such as NetSuite, BlackLine, Kyriba, Fireblocks, and Lukka.
• Benchmark existing processes against best‑in‑class practices and emerging AI capabilities to create a finance automation roadmap.
• Deploy production‑grade AI‑driven automation solutions in the short term.
• Redesign the long‑term finance architecture to support scalable, compliant operations.
• Collaborate directly with accounting, FP&A, treasury, and finance teams to ensure seamless implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience architecting and building automation solutions for finance operations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SOX, audit, and security standards.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, engineering, and compliance stakeholders.
• Comfort with remote, globally distributed teams.
