About the role

Fluor is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to lead contract strategy and execution for large‑scale engineering and construction projects. The role works closely with project management and client teams to develop negotiation strategies, ensure compliance, and allocate resources effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mid‑size to large projects and formulate contracting strategies for individual contracts.
• Develop bid/award negotiation strategies in coordination with project and client teams.
• Perform resource surveys, contract risk assessments, and produce detailed reports.
• Create and maintain master documents, guide system and process changes, and implement procedural improvements.
• Assess resource needs, prepare workforce and indirect cost estimates, and manage budgets for each contract.
• Ensure compliance with all statutes, regulations, and contract terms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Accredited four‑year degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 14 years of experience in contract management, subcontract administration, or procurement supporting engineering and construction projects.
• Strong communication skills with management, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret and apply local, state/province, and federal statutes and guidelines.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Commitment to staying current with contract management practices.
