About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring an Actuarial Services - Experienced Associate within its Risk and Compliance team, part of the Assurance practice. The associate analyzes and manages financial risks for clients through statistical modeling and data analysis, helping them make informed decisions and mitigate risks. The role involves exposure to clients and collaboration with colleagues across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and manage financial risks through statistical modeling and data analysis
• Develop insights and recommendations to help clients make informed decisions
• Use actuarial science and financial modeling to support risk management strategies
• Implement risk models and run complex data analysis to identify potential risks
• Present financial reports and findings to clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members to strengthen internal controls and mitigate risks
• Apply statistical analysis software to find patterns and trends in data
• Engage in strategic forecasting to anticipate future financial scenarios
• Gather information from diverse sources to support comprehensive risk analysis
• Build commercial awareness of business operations and follow responsible information management, security and data protection practices

Required profile

• Graduated or currently pursuing an Actuarial Science degree, with at least 65% of the university degree completed
• Passed the P&C insurance class
• Oral and written English proficiency required
• At least 1 year of experience in the actuarial and/or insurance sector
