Accounting Manager – Remote (US Clients)

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for our US‑based clients. The position is fully remote and reports to the Controller, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to TGG standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer invoicing, vendor bills, payroll, and cash‑flow forecasts on a weekly basis.
• Perform P&L scrubs, resolve collection issues, and manage recurring accounting processes.
• Complete monthly technical QA checklists, balance‑sheet accuracy, sales‑tax pre‑payments, and journal‑entry approvals.
• Prepare and review financial statements, notes, KPIs, and executive summaries.
• Conduct quarterly 941 reconciliations and sales‑tax return submissions.
• Coordinate annual 1099 filings, chart‑of‑accounts reviews, and personal‑property tax filings.
• Lead new‑client implementation by assessing existing processes, documenting improvements, and creating initial financial reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably with US‑based clients.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month‑end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or NetSuite (preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data organization, basic analysis).
• Experience with payroll processing, sales‑tax calculations, and 941/1099 filings.
