Accounting Audit Specialist – Internal Auditor

About the role

Oasis is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Audit Specialist to join the Internal Audit team. You will help ensure financial integrity, operational effectiveness, and compliance across the organization while supporting continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and execute a final move‑out file audit to verify profitability against budget and resolve any discrepancies.
• Deliver ad‑hoc projects and reports on schedule, maintaining an organized calendar of deadlines.
• Review new unit paperwork and ensure accurate entry in the accounting system.
• Validate invoices, vendor bills, referral fees, rent payments, security deposits, and extra charges for new units and extensions.
• Check the P&L by job for complete and accurate A/R and A/P entries.
• Update accounting software promptly for reservation adjustments such as extensions, early terminations, or upgrades.
• Develop a one‑year development plan with quarterly metrics and targets.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Customer‑service focused with professional phone and email etiquette.
• Experience thriving in a fast‑paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated, determined, and target‑driven.
• Background in accounting or finance; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
