Accounting Analyst - Ssr

About the role

AppDirect is looking for a motivated Accounting Analyst (Semi‑Senior) to join its finance team. You will work in a flexible hybrid model, supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly close process and adhere to the close calendar.
• Perform journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accruals and conduct prepaid analysis.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights for decision‑making.
• Help prepare US GAAP financial statements and support external audits and due‑diligence requests.
• Maintain accurate accounting transactions in line with internal controls and company policies.
• Execute special projects and analyses as directed by management.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance (completed or in progress) with equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting the accounting function of a US/Europe‑based international company or in public accounting.
• Proven ability to establish and optimise reporting processes for timely and accurate reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Self‑motivated, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
