Accounting Analyst

About the role

AppDirect is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join its finance team. You will work in a hybrid model (one day onsite, four days remote) and help build a first‑class accounting function for a fast‑growing subscription commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare accruals, perform prepaid analysis, and execute bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
• Support the preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements and external audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company accounting policies, and help strengthen the control environment.
• Participate in special projects, system enhancements, and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting the accounting function of an international company or in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accounting processes, and internal controls.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
