Accountant

About the role

Wallbit is seeking an Accountant to provide comprehensive accounting and tax advisory to its global team, supporting independent contractors and freelancers working abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inquiries and provide advisory on accounting and tax matters, including monotributo and foreign invoicing.
• Support registration, deregistration, recategorization, enrollment, invoicing, and tax compliance processes.
• Stay up to date on tax regulatory changes and translate complex topics into clear explanations.
• Adopt technology, AI, and automation tools to simplify tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities to automate and optimize workflows.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant degree (Contador Público).
• Hands‑on experience with Argentine accounting and tax matters, especially monotributo, invoicing, and tax compliance.
• Knowledge of registration processes, electronic invoicing, and procedures with ARCA.
• Experience with AI and automation tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics in simple terms.
• Autonomous, organized, detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Argentine accounting and tax compliance (monotributo, electronic invoicing, ARCA).
• AI and automation tools for workflow optimization.
