Accountant – Global Shared Services (AP)

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our global shared services Accounts Payable team in Argentina. You will support the team by handling payments, maintaining US GAAP records and contributing to process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Review expenditure support documents to ensure accounting accuracy.
• Initiate and manage bank payments to EPAM partners, including local and international transfers.
• Maintain US GAAP records for company expenses and related accounts payable and banking transactions.
• Perform monthly closing activities for designated accounts in SAP.
• Liaise with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping questions.
• Provide explanations and backup documentation to senior or lead accountants as needed.
• Address internal and external inquiries, attend meetings and support audit documentation.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives with the IT team and test new solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards.
• Demonstrated accountability and ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to work within established policies and procedures.
• Eagerness for continuous learning and professional growth.
• Effective teamwork experience in diverse, multicultural environments.
• English language proficiency at B2+ level (written and verbal).
