Accountant – Global AP Shared Services

About the role

We are looking for a Middle Accountant to join our Global Accounts Payable Shared Services team in Argentina. You will ensure accurate financial records, process vendor payments, and support month‑end closing under US GAAP while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Validate expenditure documentation and ensure completeness of accounting information.
• Process EPAM vendor payments, including domestic and international wires, batch and individual transactions.
• Record expenses in compliance with US GAAP and manage related AP and banking activities.
• Execute monthly closing activities in SAP following internal procedures.
• Partner with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping questions.
• Prepare explanations and supporting records for senior accountants as needed.
• Respond to stakeholder requests, attend audit meetings, and provide documentation.
• Participate in process‑improvement projects with the IT team and support testing of new processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance orientation.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work in a multicultural environment.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2+).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency with SAP for accounting tasks.
• Solid MS Office skills.
