Accountant – Global AP Shared Services

About the role

We are looking for a Middle Accountant to join our global Accounts Payable Shared Services team in Argentina. You will ensure accurate financial records, process vendor payments and support month‑end closing under US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Validate expenditure documentation to guarantee completeness and correctness.
• Coordinate and process EPAM vendor payments, including domestic and international wires, batch and individual transactions.
• Record expenses in compliance with US GAAP and manage related AP and banking activities.
• Execute monthly closing activities in SAP following internal procedures.
• Collaborate with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping questions.
• Prepare explanations and supporting records for senior or lead accountants.
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder requests, attend meetings and prepare audit documentation.
• Participate in process‑improvement projects with the IT team, identifying optimisation areas and testing new processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow established procedures and demonstrate accountability.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and teamwork experience in multicultural settings.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
