Accountant – Accounts Payable (Argentina)

About the role

EPAM is seeking an Accountant to join its global shared services Accounts Payable team in Argentina. You will support the processing of expenditures, bank payments and US GAAP bookkeeping while collaborating with multicultural teams.

Key responsibilities

• Validate accounting attributes of expenditure supporting documents.
• Process domestic and international wire transfers, batch and individual payments to EPAM counterparties.
• Perform US GAAP bookkeeping for company expenditures and record related accounts payable and bank payments.
• Complete monthly accounting close for assigned accounts in SAP.
• Coordinate with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping issues.
• Provide explanations and documentation to senior accountants for audit purposes.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives with the IT development team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• High attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work within established rules and procedures.
• Team player comfortable in multicultural environments.
• English proficiency at B2+ level (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP for accounting operations.
