Account Manager

About the role

VectorBuilder is seeking a motivated Account Manager to grow existing customer accounts and build long‑term relationships with academic, pharma and biotech clients in the US region. The role is fully remote and will focus on promoting the company’s gene‑delivery platform and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales within the designated US territory.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, answering questions on features, pricing and services.
• Conduct outreach via email, phone, video calls, webinars and virtual product shows.
• Maintain strong, lasting client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales teams across territories to share best practices.
• Provide technical support by working closely with internal departments.
• Other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• High self‑motivation, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail.
