Terminal IT/OT On-site Support Engineer

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking a Service Operations Technician to provide on‑site IT and operational technology (OT) support for terminal operations. You will join a local and regional technology team, ensuring that end‑users and critical infrastructure run reliably and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user support for applications and devices, including terminal systems, office tools, desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Maintain and support local IT infrastructure such as datacenter equipment, cabling, servers and network components.
• Support OT systems including CCTV, OCR equipment, biometric devices, radio systems and vehicle‑mounted technologies.
• Resolve incidents and service requests within defined service levels and escalate non‑standard issues.
• Install, configure and replace IT and OT hardware as part of maintenance and upgrade activities.
• Collaborate with regional IT teams for onsite incident handling, changes and infrastructure initiatives.
• Participate in change management processes and contribute to regional change advisory boards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in both IT and OT environments.
• Ability to work on‑site in a terminal or logistics setting.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident‑resolution skills.
