Supply Chain Materials Planner

About the role

We are looking for a contract manufacturing materials planner to manage a medium-sized portfolio of raw materials. The planner will guide raw-material orders through our drop-ship process, ensure timely delivery to production, and act as a liaison between contract manufacturers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee raw-material orders, perform daily checks and keep the shared tracker and inbox organized.
• Communicate and collaborate with procurement, suppliers, central planning and supply-chain management.
• Identify and resolve supply issues or shortages, escalating when necessary.
• Recognize stock-out risks, inventory needs and future requirements, and define clear resolution paths.
• Implement best-practice improvements for reporting metrics and drive continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Work with procurement and planning on risk mitigation, supplier transitions and improvement opportunities.
• Submit and track new SKU set-ups, report weekly progress and support needs.
• Monitor master data and supply-chain parameters in the ERP system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply-chain planning, customer service or a related discipline.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Fluent English and ability to travel to the United States.
• Availability to work typical Eastern Standard Time business hours.
