Senior Project Manager & Product Specialist

About the role

The Senior Project Manager/Product Specialist drives delivery execution, backlog readiness, and scope control for engineering initiatives. Acting as a bridge between strategy and execution, the role ensures predictable delivery, minimizes rework, and provides clear, actionable requirements for engineering squads.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery cadence, scope management and progress tracking across engineering projects.
• Lead backlog readiness by converting abstract concepts into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and edge cases.
• Define Definition of Done criteria together with technical leads and stakeholders.
• Monitor project health, timelines and deviations, proactively addressing bottlenecks.
• Coordinate cross‑functional dependencies and mitigate risks before they impact execution.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment among engineering, product, design and business teams.
• Support product feasibility assessments and roadmap planning.
• Prioritise requirements based on business value, technical feasibility and delivery impact.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders about status, risks and expectations.
• Continuously improve delivery processes, workflows and backlog management practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading complex technical or digital projects in the software industry.
• Previous product‑focused experience such as Product Owner, Business Analyst or Product Analyst.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured development plans.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with senior clients and business leaders.
• Advanced English (C1/C2) with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self‑driven, proactive and high sense of ownership.
