Senior DevOps Engineer – Ansible Expertise

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Ansible and modern cloud platforms. The role focuses on modernising our Developer Portal in Azure, building self‑service capabilities, and delivering robust, scalable infrastructure for engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and improve CI/CD processes.
• Manage and optimise Azure cloud environments, including AKS.
• Use Terraform/OpenTofu for Infrastructure‑as‑Code automation.
• Orchestrate containerised applications with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Administer repositories and CI/CD tooling such as Harness.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, pipeline and platform layers.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, security and observability.
• Provide recommendations to improve stability, efficiency and security.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Platform Engineering, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Hands‑on expertise with Ansible from design to implementation.
• Experience creating playbooks for both Windows and Linux.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast‑paced environments.
• Knowledge of major cloud providers; Azure is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Internal Developer Platforms and GitOps practices.
