Remote Canva Designer (Affinity Experience) – Active Talent Pool

About the role

Design Pickle is looking for a remote Canva Designer to join its active talent pool. You will create high‑quality, editable Canva assets that support the company’s mission to be the most helpful creative platform worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Create and adapt social media graphics, marketing collateral, presentations, pitch decks, and print‑ready files using Canva.
• Convert PDFs and Adobe files into fully editable Canva templates with proper structure, fonts, and design elements.
• Utilise advanced Canva features such as Magic Resize, Smartmockups, Brand Hub, animation and video tools.
• Build reusable design systems with locked elements, text styles, and layout guides for efficient workflows.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Art Directors, Team Coordinators and Quality Specialists to meet project requirements.
• Maintain organised files using Canva’s Version History, Comments and Folders.
• Address design challenges within Canva’s platform limitations.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in Canva with a portfolio showcasing editable templates converted from PDFs or Adobe files.
• Strong application of Brand Kits across social, marketing and presentation formats.
• Experience with Canva’s Magic Resize, Smartmockups and animation features.
• Ability to build scalable, reusable templates using locked elements and brand styles.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – a plus.
• Affinity Suite experience (Designer, Photo, Publisher) is highly valued.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to deliver high volumes of quality work quickly.
