PLC Engineer

About the role

As a PLC Engineer you will design, program and maintain industrial automation systems that rely on PLC technology. You will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable, efficient control processes across diverse industrial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain PLC programs for automated systems.
• Analyse system requirements and translate them into control logic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLC‑controlled processes.
• Integrate PLCs with SCADA, HMI and other industrial systems.
• Perform testing, commissioning and validation of automation solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, safety and performance optimisation.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Fluency in English.
• Customer‑success orientation and ability to work in Agile or structured project environments.

Required skills

• PLC platforms: Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider.
• SCADA/HMI systems: WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition.
• Industrial communication protocols: Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.
• Electrical systems, instrumentation and control panels.
• Industrial networks and field devices.
