Legal Intake Specialist – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Our client, a U.S.-based personal injury law firm, is looking for a Legal Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for prospective clients. Working fully remotely from Latin America, you will handle high‑volume communications, ensure accurate case intake and provide empathetic support throughout the legal process.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Assist clients by answering questions, scheduling appointments and providing case status updates.
• Conduct preliminary screenings to determine case eligibility.
• Document client information accurately in the firm’s case management system.
• Follow intake scripts, checklists and workflows to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Manage follow‑ups to increase intake conversions.
• Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys and case managers.
• Escalate urgent or sensitive matters to the appropriate team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in intake, customer service, call‑center or administrative roles within a U.S. law firm.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• High level of empathy, patience and professionalism when speaking with distressed clients.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and follow structured workflows.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Quick learner of CRM or case‑management software.
