Hotel Director – Luxury Operations

About the role

The Hotel Director leads the overall performance of a luxury, multi‑outlet hotel operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and adherence to Forbes 5‑star standards. This senior position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on management of daily hotel activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership across all hotel functions.
• Oversee every aspect of hotel operations to maximise guest satisfaction and crew friendliness.
• Implement and maintain Forbes 5‑star standards, ensuring the property is inspection‑ready.
• Conduct daily inspiring morning meetings and resolve onboard challenges promptly.
• Mentor heads of departments, identify training needs and support talent development.
• Participate in meetings, training activities, and related courses as required.
• Attend weekly public health inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Distribute NPS scores, financial data, voyage reports and deep‑dive analyses to stakeholders at the end of each voyage.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of professional experience in luxury hotel operations (multi‑outlet), with at least 5 years at a management level.
• Previous cruise‑line experience is an advantage.
• Excellent fluent English (verbal and written); conversational skills in additional languages are a plus.
