External Communications & PR Coordinator

About the role

Okeanos Group is seeking an External Communications & PR Coordinator to amplify its public voice across press, social media, newsletters, and global campaigns. This early‑career position offers hands‑on experience in media relations, international outreach, and content creation within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft press releases, media materials, and external announcements under guidance of senior leadership.
• Support media outreach, maintain journalist contact lists, and track press coverage.
• Assist with LinkedIn content for executives, including post drafting and story sourcing.
• Write, coordinate, and distribute the company’s external newsletter.
• Gather internal updates and translate them into external‑ready content.
• Help coordinate communications for product launches, partnership announcements, and milestones.
• Organize drafts, approvals, and timelines across teams and time zones.
• Support adaptation and localization of communications for key international markets, including Japan, North America, and LATAM.
• Assist with translation logistics for regional outreach campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing (including internships or freelance work).
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail and brand voice.
• Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback.
• Genuine interest in sustainability and environmental impact.
