Associate Counsel – Global Filings Team

About the role

The Global Filings Team (GFT) at JPMorgan Chase is looking for an Associate Counsel to support statutory corporate governance filings across the EMEA region. You will work closely with internal legal, finance, compliance and tax teams as well as third‑party vendors to ensure timely and accurate filing of required documents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, track and prepare periodic and event‑based statutory filings such as financial statements, annual reports, director appointments, resignations and entity name changes.
• Draft filing documents and gather supporting materials from internal stakeholders.
• Submit filings directly to Company Registrars where permitted or coordinate submissions with relevant parties.
• Act as a delegate in the Corporate Governance Filings Application (CGFA) to maintain up‑to‑date filing status.
• Provide guidance, training and support to users of governance tools and applications.
• Prepare regular reports on filing status, compliance metrics and upcoming deadlines for senior leadership.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities and data‑quality enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law with a strong interest in corporate law.
• 2–3 years of experience in corporate governance, statutory filings or legal entity management, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
