Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to design, build and maintain high‑performance web applications and backend services for our core platform. You will work remotely within our LATAM‑focused team, collaborating with product managers, designers and frontend developers to turn complex requirements into clean, well‑tested code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new applications and services using Ruby on Rails, micro‑services architecture and Azure PaaS.
• Document architectural designs with diagrams and logical flows.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality and performance.
• Maintain and improve existing applications without supervision.
• Estimate work, break down user stories and plan tasks.
• Monitor platform performance and implement optimisations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Ruby on Rails applications in a senior capacity.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate functional and non‑functional requirements into reliable solutions.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
