Semi‑Senior IT Systems Engineer – Identity Access Management

About the role

Medallia is looking for a Semi‑Senior IT Systems Engineer focused on Identity Access Management (IAM). You will work with internal teams and external vendors to deliver secure, high‑performance infrastructure across cloud, data‑center and network environments, ensuring a consistent user experience worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the escalation point for access and authorization issues across all integrated platforms.
• Maintain security as the top priority while balancing user experience.
• Monitor and remediate deviations in the security posture of the user community.
• Collaborate with engineering, information security and other stakeholders to align on goals and road‑maps.
• Build a high‑performing IT practice and mentor team members.
• Create and update online support documentation and troubleshoot system/application issues.
• Deliver technical solutions hands‑on with a quality‑first mindset.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience supporting servers and managing user profiles (Windows Server, Active Directory, SSO, PKI, virtual desktops, MDM, scripting, API calls).
• 3+ years building and maintaining cloud and SaaS services.
• 1+ years managing IdP solutions such as Okta or Entra ID.
