SAP PRA Solution Architect

About the role

Join Chevron Global Business Services in Buenos Aires as a SAP PRA Solution Architect. You will lead the design and governance of end‑to‑end Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) solutions on SAP platforms, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, and aligned with the company’s finance and hydrocarbon value‑chain strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document the full architecture for PRA solutions, covering revenue accounting, royalty and tax calculations, and integration with upstream, finance, and reporting systems.
• Act as the domain expert for PRA processes, providing guidance on industry best practices, regulatory compliance, and valuation methods.
• Design cross‑system integrations between SAP PRA, SAP FI, joint‑venture accounting, upstream production systems, and external reporting platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, enforce enterprise standards, and maintain blueprints, patterns, and guardrails.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure high‑quality implementation, performance, scalability, and issue resolution.
• Engage with finance, upstream, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into clear architectural direction.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and S/4HANA enablement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• Extensive experience in SAP PRA, SAP S/4HANA, and finance‑focused solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of production revenue accounting, royalty calculations, and regulatory compliance in the energy sector.
