Mechanical Engineer – Supplier Sourcing

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in supplier sourcing to join our engineering projects in Argentina. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing and supplier strategy, influencing speed, cost and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new suppliers on a global scale.
• Understand manufacturing processes and assess part feasibility.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, capacity and scalability.
• Lead RFQs, comparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Interact directly with vendors to validate capabilities versus promises.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering background.
• Hands‑on experience working with suppliers or in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to quickly assess whether a supplier can meet demand.
• Strong English communication skills for interaction with global teams and suppliers.
