Internal Audit Internship – Global Business Services (Buenos Aires)

About the role

Chevron’s Global Business Services in Buenos Aires is offering a 12‑month Internal Audit Internship. You will join the Corporate Audit team, working on real audit projects and collaborating with professionals across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements that influence the operations of a global energy company.
• Contribute ideas to improve internal audit processes and methodologies.
• Explore and apply digital tools such as Power Apps and data‑analysis technologies to make audits more efficient.
• Take ownership of meaningful tasks, building technical and professional skills.
• Collaborate with the international audit network and support cross‑location initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced student in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Interest in innovation, technology, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated initiative through leadership or active participation in student organizations, volunteer work, sports teams, or academic projects (preferred).
• Availability for 20 hours per week over a 12‑month period, with possible extension.

Required skills

• Exposure to Power Apps.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
