Advanced Messaging Engineer

About the role

ExxonMobil is looking for a Messaging Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise messaging platforms across hybrid and cloud environments. You will ensure secure, scalable, and highly available email services for a global workforce, supporting both on‑premises Exchange and Exchange Online.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain messaging infrastructure on‑premises and in the cloud.
• Manage email flow, policies, and reliability across worldwide locations.
• Support and configure email security platforms to protect against spam, phishing, and other threats.
• Participate in migration projects and hybrid coexistence between on‑prem Exchange and Exchange Online.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to strengthen security and compliance.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft Exchange (on‑premises) and Exchange Online.
• Knowledge of email security solutions and best practices.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and support global operations.
• Willingness to learn additional technologies related to messaging and cloud integration.
