Accountant – Hospitality (Hotel Industry)

About the role

Howard Financial is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support our portfolio of hospitality clients. You will handle daily accounting tasks, month‑end close, and balance‑sheet reconciliations while ensuring high‑quality financial reporting across multiple hotel properties.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities, prepare journal entries, and support month‑end close to meet client deadlines.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity by cleaning up and resolving reconciling items.
• Master client‑specific hospitality platforms, ERP tools, and reporting structures for independent execution.
• Deliver consistent, accurate, and responsive service in line with standardized processes.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property management, or outsourced accounting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close cycles.
• Highly organized, detail‑focused, and able to work independently while communicating clearly with teams and clients.
