Accountant – Accounts Payable (Argentina)

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our global shared‑service Accounts Payable team in Argentina. You will support the full accounting cycle, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and collaborate with multicultural teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Validate accounting attributes of expenditure supporting documents.
• Process domestic and international bank payments, including wire transfers and batch payments.
• Perform US GAAP bookkeeping for company expenditures and record related accounts payable and bank payments.
• Complete monthly close for assigned accounts in SAP following established procedures.
• Coordinate with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping issues.
• Provide explanations and documentation to senior accountants for audit and compliance purposes.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives with the IT development team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
• Ability to work within established rules and procedures.
• English proficiency at B2+ level (written and spoken).

Required skills

• MS Office, especially advanced Excel for data analysis.
• SAP for accounting operations.
• Knowledge of US GAAP bookkeeping.
