Strategic Project Lead – AI in Healthcare (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Project Lead to drive frontier AI initiatives in the healthcare and medical domain. This remote, full‑time freelance position will work directly with leading AI labs and manage multidisciplinary teams of physicians, researchers, and data experts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end AI data projects, ensuring high quality, scalability, and efficiency.
• Manage healthcare and medical data workflows, overseeing Human Data Managers and subject‑matter experts.
• Collaborate with top AI labs on high‑impact projects and optimize KPIs with Human Data Engineers.
• Provide executive‑level updates on project progress and operational impact.
• Partner with senior leadership, including the CEO and Head of Human Data.

Required profile

• Strong background in AI, computer science, data operations, medicine, or related fields.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing large‑scale, healthcare‑focused operational projects.
• Startup mindset with ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
• MD degree is a strong plus but not mandatory.
