CPS AR Automation Engineer

About the role

The Coca‑Cola Company is looking for a CPS AR Automation Engineer to serve as the technical reference for automated systems at its plant in Buenos Aires. You will ensure the reliability and performance of automation equipment, support troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead diagnosis and resolution of automation failures, coordinating internal teams and external vendors.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for automated lines and shop‑floor networks.
• Provide advanced automation and control expertise to Plant, Maintenance, IT, and Automation stakeholders.
• Develop and manage engineering and automation projects, from scope definition to validation.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Automation, Mechatronic, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong English proficiency for collaboration with global teams.
• Proven experience in automation, control systems, or a similar industrial role.
• Ability to interpret electrical and control schematics.

Required skills

• Advanced PLC programming (Ladder logic) for diagnostics and fault identification.
• HMI panel programming.
• SCADA system troubleshooting.
• Rockwell Automation tools (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View).
• Inductive Ignition platforms.
• Industrial networking and OT environment knowledge.
• Familiarity with Modbus TCP/RTU, PROFINET, and Ethernet/IP protocols.
