Clinical Documentation & Quality Assurance Specialist – Remote (USD Salary)

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Clinical Documentation & Quality Assurance Specialist to join our US medical operations team. Working remotely from Argentina, you will ensure that clinical progress notes meet US insurance, coding, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret clinical progress notes for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Validate diagnoses, treatment plans, referrals, and follow‑up orders across the EHR system.
• Identify documentation gaps and compliance risks to prevent insurance audits.
• Track and optimize documentation for preventive‑care metrics such as HEDIS, QCM, and value‑based care.
• Communicate documentation issues and workflow recommendations to clinical and operational leadership.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, Nurse, Quality Assurance Specialist, or in US healthcare administration.
• Strong understanding of US insurance compliance and continuity‑of‑care measures.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to handle confidential patient data in accordance with HIPAA.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Experience navigating eClinicalWorks (eCW) – a strong advantage.
