Supply Chain Planner (Pharma)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to manage raw‑material planning for a pharmaceutical operation. The role ensures timely availability of materials, aligns supply plans with production schedules, and optimizes inventory while minimizing stock‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage raw material planning activities across the pharma supply chain.
• Develop and maintain supply plans that match production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Use Kinaxis RapidResponse for planning, scenario analysis, supply balancing and reporting.
• Monitor material shortages, excess inventory and supply risks, and drive mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, quality and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted supply flow.
• Support S&OP and supply planning cycles and contribute to operational planning reviews.
• Generate dashboards, KPIs and reports for business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of hands‑on supply planning experience in the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences sector.
• Background working with large pharma companies (e.g., Pfizer, BMS, Gilead, Roche, Novartis, Merck, Sanofi).
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to operate independently and support documentation and knowledge‑transfer activities.
