Software Engineer with TypeScript and Node.js

About the role

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to join its backend team in Argentina. You will work on the Community Platform, delivering new features and maintaining high‑performance services built with TypeScript and Node.js.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch backend features for TypeScript/Node.js services backed by MongoDB and Redis.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product owners, and stakeholders for end‑to‑end delivery.
• Provide production support, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and on‑call incident response.
• Identify and remediate bottlenecks to improve latency, error rates, or throughput.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines on GitLab and assist with containerized deployments.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with MongoDB, Redis, and RESTful or GraphQL API design.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes (GitLab CI) and deployment troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with containerized environments.
• Nice‑to‑have experience with SendGrid, Snowflake or Redshift.
