Senior DevOps Engineer (Platform Engineering)

About the role

We are building a next‑generation Internal Developer Platform that enables engineering teams to manage infrastructure, workflows, and services at scale. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will work at the intersection of platform engineering, cloud architecture, and real‑world customer environments, delivering reliable, production‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary DevOps contact for one or more customers, leading technical discussions, workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Translate business and technical requirements into actionable architectures and implementation plans.
• Own delivery across projects, managing scope, timelines, risks, and communication.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
• Architect and operate multi‑cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI) including networking, IAM, compute, and managed services.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform at production scale.
• Implement observability systems (logs, metrics, traces) using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Loki, etc.
• Define and improve SLIs/SLOs, incident response processes, and reliability practices.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Drive automation, DevSecOps, and FinOps initiatives to improve security, reduce toil, and optimize cloud costs.
• Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure across at least two major providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proven track record designing and operating production‑grade systems.
• Expertise in Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (client‑facing).
• Experience in high‑growth, product‑driven environments is a plus.
