Sales Assistant – Battery Energy Storage Solutions

About the role

The Sales Assistant will act as a domain expert for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across all product lines, from residential to utility‑scale. You will collaborate with internal ESS teams, external partners, and global stakeholders to drive business development and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects of all sizes.
• Serve as the BESS subject‑matter expert, reviewing financial considerations and approving optimal solutions.
• Define metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery.
• Track construction progress, identify acquisition opportunities, and report market insights to the global team.
• Participate in industry conferences and networking committees to stay abreast of market trends.
• Build relationships with key technology vendors, procurement, construction, and EPC partners.
• Negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, consultants, and installation subcontractors to strengthen Gotion’s competitive position.

Required profile

• BA in Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in Business Development.
• 3+ years in the energy sector, specifically ESS.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Experience in a startup or similar fast‑paced environment.
• Global experience with an understanding of multicultural decision‑making processes.
