Remote Bookkeeper & Accounting Specialist (USD Salary)

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to support a high‑growth US client. Working remotely from anywhere in LATAM, you will act as a strategic financial pillar, ensuring the integrity of daily financial records and delivering accurate reporting under US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily ledger entries, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger accuracy.
• Perform regular bank, credit‑card and payment‑gateway reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets and cash‑flow reports for executive leadership.
• Ensure all bookkeeping processes comply with US accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide basic variance analysis and support forecasting to aid cash‑flow optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an accountant or bookkeeper.
• Prior exposure to US‑based clients, agencies or US tax/financial workflows is a strong advantage.
• Professional fluency in English with the ability to communicate financial data clearly.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset and strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• High proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data formatting).
• Proficient use of Google Sheets for financial tracking.
