Release Manager (Mobile – iOS, Android & Backend)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to own the end‑to‑end release lifecycle of our native mobile applications (iOS and Android) and the supporting backend services. The role bridges product and engineering, ensuring high‑quality, reliable releases that are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the release calendar across iOS, Android, and backend platforms, coordinating scope with product, engineering, QA, and operations.
• Oversee end‑to‑end release execution, including builds, testing, app store submissions, and backend deployments, while ensuring versioning, tagging, and branching consistency.
• Act as the central communication hub, providing timely updates on release status, risks, and issues, and maintaining comprehensive release documentation.
• Identify and mitigate release risks, lead rollback planning, and drive continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and automation.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of mobile app development lifecycles for iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with backend systems, APIs, and deployment processes.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to coordinate multiple teams and align priorities.
• Proactive problem‑solver who remains calm under pressure during critical release windows.
