Recruiter – Logistics & Sales Talent

About the role

Next Staffing Group is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to manage full‑cycle hiring for a logistics client. The role will cover warehousing, trucking, driver, and brokerage positions, with a focus on building a pipeline of entry‑level sales talent through university partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for all roles, including warehouse staff, truck drivers, logistics brokers and sales personnel.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of entry‑level sales candidates.
• Establish and nurture relationships with regional universities, career services, faculty and student organizations.
• Create internship and graduate hiring programs that feed the sales pipeline.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, CDL/driver networks and industry channels.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Manage applicant tracking, candidate communication, offer negotiations and onboarding hand‑off.
• Track and report recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, pipeline health and source effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and DOT/FMCSA requirements for driver positions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably high‑volume or multi‑discipline hiring.
• Proven success building candidate pipelines for entry‑level or sales roles.
• Experience establishing university partnerships and campus hiring programs.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
