Project Financial Analyst I

About the role

The Project Financial Analyst I supports the Global Regulatory Affairs Group and Medical Writing functional service provider at Syneos Health. The role is responsible for manual revenue calculations, loading data into Oracle Fusion, and ensuring accurate project financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record monthly revenue for unit, fee‑for‑service and fixed‑price contracts and load it into Oracle Fusion.
• Provide commentary on material forecast variances and obtain project forecasts.
• Raise invoices according to client specifications and perform monthly invoice‑vs‑billing reconciliations.
• Ensure timely project close‑outs and maintain central project trackers for SOX compliance.
• Support business unit controller, review AR aging, and assist project teams with set‑up, billing and reporting.

Required profile

• BS/BA in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Pharmaceutical or CRO experience preferred.
• Strong English proficiency and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential data and work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with accounting software, preferably Oracle Finance (Oracle Fusion).
