Performance Engineer Lead (Remote)

About the role

Qualitest is seeking a Performance Engineer Lead to design, develop, and execute performance tests for its CEP product. This remote position allows you to collaborate with global thought leaders while shaping the non‑functional quality of cutting‑edge AI‑powered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review non‑functional requirements and define performance test schedules.
• Develop performance test scripts based on user stories using JMeter.
• Create data sets and scenarios for average load, peak load, and endurance testing.
• Track defects, code, and infrastructure changes throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Maintain the performance development backlog and prioritize tests with the CEP Product Owner.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and integrate test results into Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Enhance and maintain the Constellation performance framework.
• Generate status reports, coverage metrics, and improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in performance testing and leading test initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and recommend optimizations.
