Mid-level Android Engineer – Fintech Apps

About the role

We are looking for a Mid-level Android Engineer to join a leading private bank in Argentina. You will help build robust, scalable fintech applications using modern Android technologies and clean architecture principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Android applications with MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Develop UI using Jetpack Compose, Material 2 theming, ViewModel and state management.
• Handle reactive app state with StateFlow, SharedFlow and coroutines.
• Set up dependency injection with Hilt and manage lifecycles.
• Consume REST APIs via Retrofit/OkHttp and parse data with Kotlinx Serialization or Moshi.
• Implement navigation using the Navigation Component, including deep links and safe args.
• Write unit, UI and integration tests (JUnit, Espresso, Compose Testing, Mockito/MockK).
• Maintain build scripts, Gradle dependencies and integrate tools such as Firebase Crashlytics.
• Collaborate with the team using Git with solid branching practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (1.9.x or newer).
• Strong understanding of design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Repository, Observer, etc.).
• Native Spanish speaker and intermediate English.
