Mechanical Engineering Trainee – Industrial Inspection

About the role

TÜV Rheinland Argentina is looking for final‑year Mechanical Engineering students to join its Industrial Services department as trainees. You will support the inspection and review of pressure equipment, industrial boilers, pipelines and storage tanks while gaining hands‑on experience in planning service strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in inspection and review activities for pressure vessels, boilers, pipelines and storage tanks.
• Assist in the planning and strategic definition of inspection services.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Learn basic concepts of Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) applicable to industrial inspections.

Required profile

• Enrolled in the 5th year (or 4th year completed) of Mechanical Engineering at Universidad Nacional del Sur.
• Availability to work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within 9:00‑18:00.
• Commitment to complete the minimum required hours (400 for Plan 2003 students, 320 for Plan 2006/2025 students).

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of pressure equipment inspection.
• Understanding of Non‑Destructive Testing principles.
