Legal AI Prompt Writer - Remote

About the role

We are seeking legal professionals to help shape AI systems that understand and process legal documents. This remote contractor position blends legal expertise with AI training, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating clear prompts and reference responses based on real legal documents, contracts, policies, and procedural workflows.
• Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses for legal accuracy, completeness, clarity, and compliance with guidelines, providing concise rationales.
• Perform precise legal data annotation, extracting information from scanned or paper‑based records and entering it into structured digital formats while flagging ambiguities and inconsistencies.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with legal documentation, drafting, reviewing, filing, and matter management.
• Familiarity with structured, paper‑heavy environments such as courts, municipalities, ministries, agencies, universities, hospitals, or NGOs (preferred).
• Strong ability to spot inconsistencies in dates, parties, citations, numbering, and cross‑references and explain their impact.
• Minimum B2 English proficiency for understanding guidelines and collaborating asynchronously.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented mindset and comfort applying detailed rubrics across large volumes of work.
