Junior Marketing & Campaign Coordinator

About the role

We are a fast‑growing private youth‑sports operator looking for an entry‑level marketer to support email and SMS lifecycle campaigns. Working side‑by‑side with the Director of Marketing, you will gain hands‑on experience with Twilio and SendGrid while helping drive customer acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building, scheduling, QA‑checking and launching email and SMS campaigns using Twilio and SendGrid.
• Help set up and test automated lifecycle flows such as onboarding, re‑engagement and retention triggers.
• Support audience list management, segmentation, suppression files and workflow documentation.
• Prepare and format email templates in collaboration with the design team.
• Coordinate campaign timelines, internal deliverables and marketing calendars.
• Maintain organized libraries of assets, templates and documentation.
• Support A/B test setup, track results and compile performance reports (open rates, click‑through, conversions, etc.).
• Identify trends in campaign data and flag optimization opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (CASL, CAN‑SPAM, GDPR) and assist with list hygiene tasks.

Required profile

• Analytical, curious and detail‑oriented.
• Foundational knowledge of email or digital marketing.
• Eager to learn lifecycle marketing, automation and data‑driven optimization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under senior supervision.
