Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full‑Charge Bookkeeper who can also manage payroll and basic HR functions for a U.S.-based company. This is a long‑term remote position offering the opportunity to work independently while supporting the finance and people operations of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Process payroll accurately, ensure tax compliance, and maintain payroll records.
• Support basic HR tasks such as onboarding, off‑boarding, and maintaining employee records.
• Prepare and send invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and manage vendor records and payment schedules.
• Generate financial reports for management and the CPA.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll processing and basic HR functions.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Trustworthy handling of sensitive and confidential information.
