Finance Optimization Manager

About the role

EY is seeking a Finance Optimization Manager to lead controllership process improvements and finance transformation initiatives for its Global Delivery Services in Argentina. The role combines deep accounting expertise with technology‑driven solutions to help clients resolve complex finance and controllership challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end finance transformation projects, including process studies, gap analysis, and design of target operating models.
• Define finance technology strategy, architecture, and roadmaps, leveraging SAP, Blackline, Trintech, Hyperion and other ERP/reporting tools.
• Lead financial statement close, Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, inventory, fixed assets and intangible asset processes, ensuring risk management and control.
• Capture reporting requirements, architect solutions, and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards for data‑driven decisions.
• Mentor and develop junior staff while building relationships across EY service lines and with client leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
• 5‑7 years of experience in public accounting, financial advisory or industry with strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• Proactive attitude, strong analytical/problem‑solving skills and ability to travel and work beyond standard hours.
